As look toward the weekend, lots of you newly engaged gals will go on the hunt for the perfect wedding gown. Hopefully these lovely dresses will inspire you! See you Monday!
Today we're going to talk about ice sculptures. I once dated a guy who was a chef for many years and when he got tired of it, he started an ice sculpture business. The work he did was amazing!Unfortunately--or should I say fortunately the relationship didn't work out (total jerk---long story) but it didn't stop me from appreciating the time and care it takes to create something from a block of ice. It really is truly an awe-inspiring art form. Here's some favorites courtesy of Inside Weddings.
My sister is visiting for the weekend and I'm ecstatic! Even though we saw each other over the holiday season, I'm always happy to see her. So I'm off to spend some quality time with the family this weekend. I hope you do too. See you Monday kids!
It's always been a dream of mine to design an East Indian themed wedding. I was researching (as usual) and came across Sandy and Sonny's July 4-5, 2009 wedding in WedLuxe Magazine. I hope you find it as inspiring as I did. Enjoy!
One of our favorite dresses this season is new from Amalia Carrara for Eve of Milady. Don't you just love the floral sash with the jewel encrusted stigma? If you look closely there are flowers carefully placed all over the dress enhanced by white feathers.
Don't you just love this strapless, taffeta trumpet style bridal gown from Tara Keely? We first saw this dress in an issue of BRIDES Magazine last year.
Hooray! Now you can make your own soda! The iSi Twist 'n Sparkle soda maker from Williams Sonoma can carbonate drinks in less than 30 seconds. Great for entertaining company at home or makes a great "Thank-You" gift for members of the wedding party.
For those of you that are planning a summer wedding, here's some wonderful ideas from a real wedding we found at Inside Weddings.
This wedding is dripping in elegance! The silver and grey palate enhanced by whites and hints of yellow works well together. Perfect for an indoor and outdoor event. Beautifully photographed by Steve Hoffmann of Hoffmann Photographer.
Get Married hosted the first wedding in Times Square this past New Year's Eve. The couple, Bethany and Geoff Dubie, were the lucky winners of this once in a lifetime event! To watch the event click here.
